Chris believes that for many of us, our jobs don’t just have to be a way to earn a paycheck. Rather, through a combination of meaningful work and empowering leadership, our jobs can actually help us self-actualize. He experienced that early in his career and has tried to foster environments where others can thrive ever since.
Prior to joining ADVISA, Chris had a 20+ year career in engineering and leadership at Cummins, Inc., a diesel engine and power generation company headquartered in southern Indiana.
He first got to know ADVISA as a client – and ADVISA’s leadership principles and approach to management changed how he led. By extension, it changed his career and his life.
Now, as a training facilitator and coach, Chris is committed to helping others navigate similar journeys.
Chris has degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, which makes college football season interesting. He’s an avid sports fan and cheers on Manchester United and the Indiana Fever and Pacers in particular.
He lives in Greenwood, Indiana with his wife and three teenage+ boys who do their best to eat Mom and Dad out of house and home.
Fun Fact
Chris used to referee youth soccer until one fateful day in 2020 when his foot landed in a low spot of the field. When he fell, his injuries included a broken leg, wrist, and elbow. But Chris finished the game – and made it to halftime of the next game – before accepting the fact that he couldn’t continue. That’s dedication.
