Laura joined the ADVISA team in June 2022 and brings high energy, a passion for serving others and a love for developing leaders to her role as Client Success Consultant.
Before joining ADVISA, Laura was the Director of Member Engagement at trueU, working alongside 100+ companies to build and grow their desired culture. The majority of her career has been in the non-profit sector in director roles at both the American Cancer Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana. She’s also an actress, represented by Helen Wells Agency (Carmel, IN), and has been in several local and regional television commercials, theater productions and voice over work.
Originally from Virginia, Laura grew up in Carmel, Indiana and graduated with honors from DePauw University, majoring in Communications. She lives in Noblesville with her husband and two children and is actively involved in Noblesville Schools – she’s served as a room mom for many years and currently serves on the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation Board of Directors. She’s completed more than a dozen half marathons, loves being outdoors (especially to enjoy live music), and keeps busy with her kids’ activities.
Fun Fact
When Laura was a senior in high school, she called a local radio station and won an all-expenses paid trip to Los Angeles to see the American Music Awards.
A few months later, she won $500 from that same radio station.
Fun subfact: Since she would be turning 18 during the Los Angeles trip, Laura was required to bring a guardian. She and her dad cruised Rodeo Drive in a convertible, saw Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears perform up close and personal, and suffered possible hearing loss from Marilyn Manson. So if she asks you to repeat anything, go easy on her.
