Fun Fact

When Rachel was in 4-H, there was an annual competition called the Calf Scramble where they would set two calves loose in an arena, and up to six kids would try to catch them. The first to catch a calf and walk it successfully through the gate could keep the cow as a 4-H project the next year.

Rachel convinced her mother to let her participate, just for fun – thinking there was no way she would actually win. The joke was on her, because she brought a cow home that day.
